Heading to the finale! Khamoro culminates tomorrow with a spectacular gala concert at SaSaZu

The highlight of the festival week! The final gala concert at one of Prague's largest clubs will feature performances by all the bands that showcased traditional Romani music at La Fabrika.
THE BEST OF ROMANI MUSIC IN ONE PLACE
At the closing gala concert, you can look forward to Ivan Herák and Erika Nováková from the Czech Republic, Greek singer Kostas Pavlidis, the spirited Ballet Flamenco Sergio González from Spain, the Hungarian Vlach group Karavan Familia, the Russian Diamant Tzigane, and the Serbian brass band Erkam Mamutovic Orkestar. Together, they will conclude the concert with a symbolic moment – singing the international Romani anthem, Gelem, gelem. We start on Saturday at 8:00 PM! It’s going to be an incredible ride!
SPEAK UP!
Change often begins by breaking the silence. This year, the Khamoro World Romani Festival will open up a taboo topic that is not easy to talk about, but must be addressed. And loudly! The afternoon mini-conference will present the initial results of a unique study focused on domestic violence against Romani women. Our organization, Slovo 21, prepared this as part of a project aimed at breaking the silence and encouraging women to speak about their experiences. The mini-conference begins on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Hotel Olšanka.
WE ARE ALREADY PREPARING FOR NEXT YEAR
This year, we experienced the 27th edition of Khamoro together. A week full of concerts, exhibitions, debates, and community gatherings showed just how strong, diverse, and vibrant Romani culture is. And most importantly – that we can all be together without differences. That it is possible. Thank you for being there with us at the concerts, in the streets, and in your hearts. See you tonight at SaSaZu! Come and help us wrap up Khamoro 2025 the way it deserves: with dance, music, and shared joy.
