Domestic violence against women must be discussed openly. This is especially true in the Roma community, where the topic has long been a taboo and is frequently downplayed. Our exclusive research revealed that nearly a third of Roma women in the Czech Republic have personal experience with domestic violence. We want to address a topic that has been silenced for too long. We want to empower the voices of women that were once suppressed.

The Romani Holocaust is one of the darkest chapters in Romani history, yet it is rarely discussed. Through an exhibition, an educational program, and a theatrical performance, we aim to confront this historical injustice and reflect on the contemporary understanding of Romani history and the Holocaust in the Czech Republic.

Diversity takes many forms and speaks many languages – and that is exactly why it has the power to connect people across cultures, generations, and borders. We are proud to be part of the European project Sound of Diversity, which connects cities and local communities across Europe with the goal of promoting equality and respect for minorities.

We are constantly working on developing our organization because we always want to improve. We focus on strategic planning, project management, and fundraising. We also train our staff and volunteers, as a high-quality team is the foundation of a stable organization. Presenting our organization both online and offline is also important to us. In all of this, we are building on the already successful Capacity Building of Slovo 21 project.

We want young Roma to be heard more. Not from the audience, but from the position of those behind major cultural events. We already have experience with this. Over the last 10 years, through our "Khamoro Shares Experience" program, we have trained dozens of young Roma from the Czech Republic in cultural management and taught them how to organize Khamoro, the largest Roma festival in the world. Now it is time to share our know-how further – to all countries of the Visegrád Group. It is not just about new knowledge. It is about young Roma gaining self-confidence, being proud of their heritage, and becoming true leaders.

We must talk about violence against women! This is especially true in the Roma community, where the topic has long been a taboo and is often downplayed. In five Czech cities, we will emphasize to Roma women that domestic violence is by no means a part of Roma traditions and has no place in any society. At the same time, we plan to conduct research, as relevant data on violence against women in the Roma community is currently missing in the Czech Republic.

Education, self-confidence, emancipation": the motto of the Roma women's group Manushe, which brings together over 170 Roma women and men of all ages and educational backgrounds from across the Czech Republic. The group is also a member organization of the Czech Women's Lobby and the European Women's Lobby.

We raise awareness of Romani literature and support Romani writers in their creative work. We host literary readings, engage in media activities, and, most importantly, work actively with authors from the Paramisara writers' club.

Every cultural event is built on the hard work and passion of those who organize it. Over more than 25 years of organizing the Khamoro World Roma Festival, we have gained a wealth of experience—and now we are passing it on. We provide young Roma with not only knowledge but also hands-on experience in cultural management, so that one day they can confidently and professionally execute their own cultural projects.

Khamoro (Romani for "little sun") is the largest and most famous professional Romani festival in the world, organized in Prague since 1999 by the organization Slovo 21 in collaboration with Studio Production Saga. Khamoro offers unique concerts, exhibitions, film screenings, dance workshops, literary readings, alternative performances, and professional seminars and conferences.

The international Jekhipe project uses the principles of transitional justice to revisit painful moments in Romani history, aiming to address them and restore dignity to the Romani people. Additionally, it focuses on dismantling the systemic barriers that Roma face in their daily lives.

Strength lies in unity. At the European level, we collaborate with 30 other Roma and pro-Roma organizations working in the field of Roma inclusion. Together, we are united under the ERGO network, which defends the interests of the Roma, organizes public campaigns, supports Roma activists, and communicates with policymakers at both the national and European levels.

We are committed to continuous improvement—in project management, fundraising, and PR. Our new project has a simple goal: to further strengthen the professional expertise of our staff through a variety of training sessions and workshops.

We motivate and support Romani children and youth to discover how education can change their lives. Through the Avela project, we provide pupils and students not only with tutoring and mentoring but also with a wide range of extracurricular activities to help them develop their potential and broaden their horizons.
