Culinary show and gala concert: Khamoro reaches its finale!

Before we knew it, the 26th World Roma Festival is slowly drawing to a close. But don't despair, the final day, Saturday, June 1st, will feature an amazing gala concert of all the traditional Roma music performers, and we also have a big new addition this year. For the first time at Khamoro, we have included a unique culinary show with none other than Pavel Berky.
Do you know anything about Roma cuisine? Maybe you do, maybe you don't. But the combination of Roma cuisine and a successful celebrity chef? That sounds more than good. So we invited Pavel Berkyto show us what Roma cuisine is really all about, starting at 1:00 PM at (A)void café by the riverbank under Jirásek Bridge. And what will be served? Perhaps a family bean goulash with three types of meat, or the legendary Gypsy Burger, which combines several traditional Roma dishes. While Khamoro has a history spanning over a quarter of a century, we have never seen anything like this before. Aven te chal – come and eat!
And in the evening, the highlight of the festival week awaits us: the final gala concert at Sasazu, one of the largest clubs in Prague. It will feature performances by all the bands that appeared before the audience over the previous two days at the traditional Roma music concerts in La Fabrika. All 6 bands will perform in turn: Cimbálovka Erika Holuba from the Czech Republic, Ame Roma from Latvia, Ciganos d’Ouro from Portugal, Khamoro Budapest Band from Hungary, Barcelona Flamenco Ballet from Spain and Kadrievi Orkestar from Macedonia.
To conclude, all performers will sing the international Romani anthem, Gelem, gelem. An incredible experience, incredible energy, and an incredible atmosphere! We start at 8:00 PM.
