We are training lecturers!
On October 25, 2021, we held the first part of a training session for lecturers who will lead school presentations on the topic of migration. These presentations are part of a range of activities available to schools interested in educating their students about migration. In addition to lectures, schools can choose to host a thematic film screening or a Theatre of the Oppressed workshop, which uses theatre as a tool to address and change unfavorable situations for groups of people who feel excluded or discriminated against. If your school is interested in any of these activities, please do not hesitate to contact us!
Preparing the Bulletin
We are working on the next issue of the Slovo Bulletin, which will feature a variety of interesting articles and interviews with inspiring people. To help pass the time while you wait for the new issue, you can read the September edition, which is already available.
New interviews on Nejsmesicizi.cz
We are, of course, continuing to prepare interviews with foreigners who have settled in the Czech Republic. You can currently read an article about Hatem, a medical student from Syria who is studying dentistry and hopes to open his own practice in the Czech Republic in the future. In the interview, he reveals, among other things, why the Czech Republic is a better place to live than Dubai, where he worked as a dental technician for several years.
