Negotiations within the Project Market have been completed over the past few days. The first deals have been closed! For example, the Roma Community Centre in Lithuania successfully offered its "Toy Library and Reading Club," which was purchased by the Integro Association!

Over the next 1.5 years, all 11 partner organizations will implement new local projects with the support of coaches from organizations that have already successfully implemented best practices. They have now "sold" their ideas to friends and colleagues from other countries with the goal of strengthening Roma communities across Europe through bottom-up approaches that have a truly positive impact!

Projects that "won" at the "auction" will be adapted to different contexts, planned in detail with the community, and then launched. The "project owner" who designed the project will act as a coach throughout the process.

Best practices include, for example: support organizations for recruiting Roma employees, a mother and child center, a volunteer program focused on nursing homes, and a motivational retraining project for unemployed Roma. All project partners have roots in local Roma communities, which allows them to easily reach and engage their target group.

The online meetings also brought together guests from many international organizations, embassies, and civil society partner organizations, including the EEA and Norway Grants, the European Commission - Justice and Consumers, the Norwegian Embassy, the Tom Lantos Institute, the ERSTE Foundation, the Zentralrat Deutscher Sinti und Roma, and the Hildegard Lagrenne Stiftung.
