It takes courage!

Being an equal partner respected by the local government and being able to be a part of the decision-making on what is happening in the local area is the basic goal of this project.

Bidaripen is helping members of Roma communities in seven cities in the Czech Republic to become active participants, so that the Roma themselves can participate in or come up with new proposals for positive changes in their cities.

The main actors are community organizers, long-time members of the women's Romani group Manushe, who themselves decided on the structure of the Bidaripen / With Courage project.
